Living in London has made me love some things even more than before...
Finally having a quiet day & enjoying the thought of my approaching moving day, I made a little mix of my favorite things:
Let's start top-left and go clockwise, shall we?
Camel COS-boots: although you can only see a little piece of them, I swear you, they're awesome. They're strong, they're waterproof and just do everything I expect them to do...these boots are made for walking!
My Oyster-card: travelling in London, like everything else here, is expensive...the best thing to do is to get yourself an Oyster-card, even if you're just visiting for a few days! Since I'm actually here to study (please do remind me of this once in a while), I got a personalized Student Oyster-card, 30% discount on all travels!
Black H&M-boots: these are the Covent Garden ones I told you about a few weeks ago...a fancy version of the, not so my cup of tea, Doc Martins...they were cheap and they will last for many seasons, high enough to keep the wetness far from your toes and I already had many people asking me where I got them...of course I lie and tell these people I got them in a shop in a Russian ghetto.
My thermos: keeps coffee warm, all day long. Clear enough.
Ray-Bans: useful in class, or on the street when I want to have a very clear view of everything that's happening around me.
Umbrella: under the glasses...it's London, so yeah, rather carry this in my bag than get soaked.
Pounds: money, money, money...can be funny, in a rich man's world. In London, your money will roll!
Sunglasses: always the optimist...behind the clouds, there's ALWAYS sun!
iPhone: texting, calling, mailing, music, pictures, map of London, tube-application, etc. I tried to like another phone when I "lost" my first iPhone, but it's impossible...I'm officially an iPhone-addict & proud of it!
Passport: The Traveler's Holy Grail.
And in the center: THE bag. Found this somewhere in some box, just before I left Belgium. It looks awesome, and it's been around since I was 12 years old & is just big enough to fit my laptop.
