London's museums are undeniably something the city can be very proud of. Showcasing relevant and impressive pieces of art, with an overall free admission for the permanent pieces. I love art, especially when it's free...who wouldn't, right?
The Victoria & Albert Museum is one of the most impressive museums in London, located on Cromwell Road. After having seen the Tate Modern, this was truly a different experience. Some shots will hopefully provide the sufficient amount of enthusiasm:
Italy's masterpieces, shown in the heart of London. |
Charles and David. |
How did they get THAT inside? |
My favorite shot in the Photography Room. |
True. |
After this cultural overdose, it was time to raise the energy level in La Bella Italia on Old Brompton Road: Pane Bella, Margherita and Vino Rosso.
The V&A is definitely a must-see in London. Pay attention to the entrance and look up, you'll find a very wise saying
The essence of art consists in the full achievement of its purpose.
If that purpose is delivering you a great afternoon and an Italian meal, I totally agree!
